Hi, Since you have reached here, Let me introduce myself. My name is Karan vijayan. I know you would be thinking "Vijayan" what a hell of a surname is this but let me tell you, My origin is from kerala( South Indian state)
where i belong to a religion where the name of the father would be the surname of the child ( weird right!!!!).
My father name was Vijayan Balakrishana so there you go. So i think its time for me to stop my gibberish( But seriously you were liking it don't you) and focus on the topic "ADDICTION"
Wikipedia says Addiction is defined as the continued use of a mood altering substance or behaviour despite adverse consequences ( why can't they make simpler meanings)
The term which had always confused me. I mean we control our brain. Everything we do is a choice chosen by us. There is reason we do everything, We drink cause we are thirsty, We play because we are bored.
But then how come this term exist. Alcohol addiction, Drugs Addiction etc .How come a man do something that deep inside he knows he is gonna regret it in the future. I mean a Alcohol addict, He knows that if he drink more he is gonna die but then also he will drink. I mean i really want to know how a person who has full control over his mind, full control over his body cannot control his urges. I mean why can't they, Why can't they just leave it.
